Brooke is a senior and a journalist at Carlmont High School. She writes articles for the printed paper, The Highlander, and the online newspaper, Scot Scoop News. She also edits online articles, and draws editorial cartoons.
In the 2017-2018 school year, Brooke leads the Scot Scoop editorial team as Editor-in-Chief.
Through journalism, Brooke has grown to realize the importance of understanding different cultures and communities around the world. She hopes to raise awareness and stimulate conversation about topics that are not already being covered by popular news sources.
Brooke continues to grow as a journalist as she investigates new interests and uncovers new stories.
